Delete your account

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open MindRight
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete my account
4. Confirm when asked

You'll be signed out and returned to the opening screen once it's done.

Without the app

If you've already uninstalled MindRight, or you can't get into your account, you can ask us to delete it instead.

Go to our contact form and choose “Account deletion request” from the dropdown. Use the email address you signed in with, so we can find the right account.

We action these within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. We'll confirm by email when it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your MindRight account record
• Your name and email address, as provided by Google or Apple when you signed in
• Your account identifier

Your streaks, badges, favourites, chosen guide and reminder time are stored only on your own phone, never on our servers. Deleting the app removes them. Deleting your account does not reach them, because we never held them in the first place.

What we keep, and why

• Anonymous, aggregated usage and crash data. This can't be traced back to you and isn't linked to your account, so there's nothing in it to delete.
• Records we're required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires them. This is a legal obligation, not a choice, and it applies to a small number of records only.

You don't need an account at all

MindRight works without one. Tap “Continue without an account” on the opening screen and every session in the catalogue plays as normal. An account only exists to carry your streak and favourites between devices.
