MindRight is built and operated by Affiliate Alliance LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("MindRight," "we," "us"). This policy covers the MindRight mobile app (iOS and Android) and this website, getyourmindright.app.
Signing in uses Google or Apple's own sign-in system through Firebase Authentication. We receive basic profile information those providers share (your name, email address, and profile photo, if you have one) solely to identify your account inside the app. We don't receive or store your Google or Apple password.
Your session history, streaks, badges, and which guide you've chosen are stored locally on your phone, not in a server database we control. If you delete the app or your device, that data is gone with it. Nothing about your listening habits is sent to us for storage.
Guided sessions stream from Cloudflare, our content delivery provider. Like any request made over the internet, this exposes your device's IP address to Cloudflare as part of normal delivery. Cloudflare does not receive your MindRight account information, only a request for an audio file.
MindRight is ad-supported through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers to show and measure ads, under Google's own advertising and privacy policies. We don't control what AdMob collects beyond what Google's platform does by default; you can review Google's practices directly at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Adverts also involve a rough idea of what part of the world you are in, worked out from your internet connection rather than from your phone. MindRight never asks for location permission and cannot: there is no GPS and no precise location anywhere in the app.
MindRight is free. Every session, every guide, every mood: no limit, no paywall, whether you pay us anything or not. Adverts pay for it. You are always asked before a session: watch a short advert and the session unlocks, or decline and it does not play. Sessions under “Help. I’m freaking out” never carry an advert for anyone.
There is one optional extra: an ad-free subscription at $2.99 a month, with a 14-day free trial. It removes the adverts and nothing else. It does not unlock any content, because none of it is locked.
We never see or handle your card details. Payment goes entirely through Apple's or Google's own checkout, and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives only the receipt and an anonymous ID for your installation so the app knows whether to switch the adverts off.
MindRight sends ten events to Firebase Analytics: how you signed in, whether with Google, with Apple, or as a guest; a session starting; a session finishing; how long a session ran; a streak day being logged; starting the ad-free subscription; starting the 14-day free trial; canceling the subscription; whether an advert was watched or declined to unlock a session; and an advert being reported. The session events say which programme played and which guide narrated it. The advert report carries the reason you picked from the list, never anything you typed yourself.
They deliberately do not say which mood tile you tapped. Those tiles are you telling us how you feel, and we decided on 24 August 2026 that it should not be sent to Google. We look at which programmes get played and finished, not at how anyone says they feel.
Firebase Analytics also collects some things on its own that we do not choose, including an identifier for your installation of the app and basic device and app-version information.
If the app crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics receives the technical details, such as device type, OS version and a stack trace, so we can fix it. Your name and account are not attached to those.
No health or fitness data: MindRight does not use HealthKit or Google Fit and does not ask you health questions. No microphone; the app plays audio and never records any. No contacts, no photos, no calendar. No browsing or search history. No precise location.
MindRight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
In the app: Settings → Delete My Account removes your account sign-in and the data stored locally on that device.
You can also request deletion without the app by using the contact form and selecting "Account deletion request." We'll confirm once it's handled.
MindRight is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). This is available from the app's Get Help screen at any time, whether or not you're signed in.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, matching Affiliate Alliance LLC's state of registration.
If what MindRight collects or how it's used changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be described plainly, the same way this page is written.
