Advertising covers the cost of hosting and producing the audio, and MindRight asks before it plays one: watch a short ad and the session unlocks straight away, or say no and nothing plays. You are never shown an ad you didn't agree to, and sessions in "Help. I'm freaking out" carry no advertising for anyone, ever. No credit card, and no account.
No. They are characters, and their voices are generated with AI. Their photos are AI-generated too. Everything they say is reviewed before it ships, and the crisis lines on the Get Help screen are real, staffed services.

No. MindRight is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The guides never claim clinical authority and never discourage seeing a real professional. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). MindRight includes a Get Help screen with that number and others, reachable at any time, signed in or not.
Most guided sessions run about three minutes, built for a specific moment: stressed, freaking out, need to focus, can't shut your brain off. There are also longer formats: a 30-minute nap session and a 40-minute sleep session.
No. You can browse and listen to sessions without creating an account. Signing in with Google or Apple is only needed to save your streaks and badges, or to manage a subscription.
